The 2nd Consultative Meeting on Regional Mentorship Strategy in ASEAN+3 FETN in Bangkok, Thailand
The ASEAN+3 FETN convened the 2nd Consultative Meeting on Regional Mentorship Strategy in Bangkok, Thailand. This meeting served as a pivotal step in building a sustainable regional mentorship system by bringing partners together to translate strategy into practice.
The session was attended by representatives from Brunei, Thailand, UKHSA, U.S. CDC, and the ASEAN+3 FETN Foundation.
Mentorship Initiatives:
🔹 Monitoring & Evaluation: Thailand FETP spearheaded the design of a regional assessment tool to track mentorship quality and impact, with a comprehensive ASEAN+3 survey set to launch in October 2025.
🔹 Standard Curriculum Development: While Singapore reviews its leadership role, countries explored collaborative models to co-develop a shared reference curriculum that supports high-quality mentor training.
🔹 Mentorship Conference: Presented the concept note for the 1st ASEAN+3 Mentorship Conference (virtual in 2025; in-person in 2026, hosted by Brunei).
